I grew up in a small town close to Hamburg, so naturally, I would always choose the ocean over mountains. I learned to appreciate the beauty in shitty weather.
This resilience always helped with my small creative projects, such as attempting to build nightstands out of concrete. It took me 50 kg of concrete and several attempts, but I succeeded.
Since bad weather has nothing on me, I moved to Sweden for five years. To test my capability with other climates, I spent a lot of my time last year in Saudi Arabia. It was definitely a change of scenery compared to my previous experiences in London, Paris, or New York throughout my career.
I am a romantic, so I fall in love with ideas and keep fighting for them, just like a real Romeo would do. I simply love all ideas. Hmm, now I sound more like a Casanova than a Romeo, but you get what I mean.
